Cheshire Sinfonia ‘Make Music’ celebration

Make Music is a celebration of music from around the world.  Launched in 1982 in France as the Fete de la Musique, it’s now held on the same day in more than 750 cities in 120 countries.
Cheshire Sinfonia is opening its rehearsal at Christ Church to the public.

They will be rehearsing Sibelius’s well known Finlandia as well as his tuneful First Symphony.  The rehearsal ends with Mahler’s youthful and colourful song cycle
“Lieder eines Fahrenden Gesellen” (“Songs of a Wayfarer”).
Do come along.  7.45 pm – The Rehearsal starts at 8 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.
