Our veteran grand piano, over 100 years in age, is due for retirement! It has served the church well since being purchased second-hand in the 1980s but is near the end of its serviceable life without spending a large amount of money on it.

The piano is used on a weekly basis by groups and individuals using the church for rehearsal and performance and we hope that a new first-rate instrument will further grow this use of our building.

We are planning to replace this piano with another grand piano of more modern construction (more suited to modern heating systems) to serve the for the next half-century at least!

To purchase a reconditioned grand piano, we
expect the cost to be in the region of £12,000 –
a fraction of the new cost.
